Resting into the New Year: A Yoga Nidra Series

Updated: 1 day ago

ree

In this nourishing series, you will have a supportive opportunity to begin 2026 with intentional rest. You will also craft an intention (sankalpa in Sanskrit) deeply connected to your heart. This is a perfect way to start a new year – caring for yourself with intention, love and community.

Beginners are welcome. Rita checks in via email with students new to her offerings to support their experience. If you are new to her offerings, please register early to allow time for connecting.

These items are recommended for optimal comfort during the practice:

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Anything that would optimize your comfort, including but not limited to: blankets, cushion for your knees and head, and an eye pillow (scarves work great too!)

  • Lotion and/or essential oil in a carrier oil. Pick a scent that you find restful and not stimulating. Lavender is often a go to.

  • Hydration or small snacks; avoid caffeine before the practice

  • Journal or paper, pencil. Colored pencils if you would prefer to draw, instead of writing.

What you receive:

  • 4 live nidra classes on Zoom

  • Recording of the classes are available for your personal practice or if the class date/time doesn’t work for your schedule.

  • Email access to yoga nidra teacher Rita Jimenez for questions that might arise.
