Nurture yourself with the rejuvenating practice of yoga nidra, a sleep based mediation accessible for all bodies and abilities. To deepen healing Rita will also offer distance reiki, an energy healing technique from Japan. In the sweet liminal space after nidra you will have an option to journal. Each student will receive a curated list of resources.
Each nidra reflects the yummy spring season, with imagery, visualizations and poetry that will leave you feeling more connected to mother earth as she awakens from the darkness of winter. Rita infuses the series with the option to use crystals and essential oils. She will offer suggestions for students who wish to incorporate these into their practice and connect students to an online crystal shop to make it more seamless for students to access crystals.
No experience with nidra or reiki required. Beginners are warmly welcome and supported.
Classes will be recorded, and those who enroll will have access to the playback until the next Yoga Nidra series begins.
From a student who took last year’s series:
"Rita holds space in a beautiful way. As she guides us through nidra, I felt held, supported, and at ease. Her ability to share distant reiki during these practices is a true gift and blessing. I left feeling well rested and pain free each time I've taken a class with her. So much gratitude for Rita."
