A Celebration of Light

As we step into the month of Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, we invite you to begin the celebration early—under the luminous glow of the Full Moon.

Traditionally, Diwali is honored on the new moon, a night of darkness illuminated by earthen lamps and the radiance of inner light. This year, we bring a unique dimension: celebrating Diwali through the Full Moon, when the night sky is at its brightest. The Full Moon calls us to reflection, release, and renewal, while Diwali calls us to welcome abundance, prosperity, and the triumph of light over darkness.

The evening will include a guided meditation flowing into a mantra sound bath with mantra singing, handpan, crystal bowls, chimes, and other instruments to create a deeply immersive inner journey. These sacred vibrations will invoke the blessings of Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity and abundance, and Ganesha, remover of obstacles and bringer of new beginnings. Mokshajyoti will create a sacred altar where you may light a lamp and place an object you wish to charge with the positive vibrations of the evening to carry home.

Come as you are, bring your open heart, and let us celebrate the Festival of Lights beneath the Full Moon—together.

Please bring:

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Water bottle

  • Layers to feel cozy

  • An altar object if you feel called to
