Ma Wang Dui Birds Qigong Form

Join lara pacheco for a 5 week series learning the Ma Wang Dui Birds Qigong as taught and certified by Dr. Liu Dong of the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School. Over five weeks we will learn this beautiful, elegant and ancient form while also connecting and exploring some seasonally based plant medicine as tea and taking in the natural surroundings of the backyard. After our five week series, participants will have learned this form to practice on their own.

Note: This is a different form than was taught earlier this summer so if you took the series in June you'd be learning new things here. Once participants register, you will be encouraged to purchase an accompanying booklet or e-booklet through the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School and will receive more information as to the location of our meetup.

Please bring:

* Booklet (if purchased)

* Paper and something to write with if you like taking notes

* Comfortable clothing for movement

* Blanket or chair to sit on for yard

lara pacheco (they/she) is a Boricua Taino mamita that believes part of our collective liberation is accessed through weaving into the web of ancestral medicine. lara is an acupuncturist offering their care through Working Class Acupuncture and one of their community partners CODA Treatment Recovery, and Zocaló Wellness. lara is an ongoing student with the Ling Gui Healing International School and life long pursuant of their Taino spiritual traditions.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel more than a week before the event, we will happily give you a 100% refund. If you cancel 1 week or less from the date of the workshop, we will give you a refund if we are able to fill your spot.

Our studio is a fragrance-free zone. Please avoid wearing or using scented products at the studio. Natural and synthetic scents such as essential oils and scented personal care products, laundry detergents, and perfumes cause debilitating symptoms for some of our community members.
