A 45-hour immersion with Zeyah Rogé
Deepen your knowledge of anatomy and asana - yoga teachers, bodyworkers, and movement lovers welcome!
Learn about how your body moves through the world of bones, joints, and muscles. Apply this information to your yoga practice through a hands-on, experiential approach. This interactive group environment is rich with creative discovery around anatomical similarities and differences and fosters an appreciation for the vast variation that exists amongst us. Unpack the ins and outs of yoga postures (asana) while honoring your own body and others' unique anatomical make-up.
This immersion is part of the SOMA School Yoga School and Teacher Training Program and so it will be geared toward established and aspiring yoga teachers who are learning to guide others in yoga. There will be a fair amount of discussion about how this information applies to teaching yoga. If this excites you even though you may not be an asipring yoga teacher than you are more than welcome to join - it will most definitely enrich your own practice and sense of embodiment!
Space is limited to maintain an intimate learning environment. (If you're interested in attending the entire teacher training program please apply here.)

About Zeyah Rogé, MA (she/her, they/them)
Zeyah embraces creative approaches to learning about bodies and movement. Her journey in anatomy began when she took her first professional massage training when she was 16 years old - over 20 years ago. Since then, she's continued to study anatomy in her premedical studies, as a clinical massage therapist, alignment-based yoga instructor, and finally as a somatic psychotherapist.
Zeyah started teaching others experiential anatomy in 2009 and loves how learning about bodies and movement can be a pathway for more embodied empowerment. Zeyah has been a core and guest faculty member of various west-coast yoga teacher trainings since 2009, developing innovative ways to explore the world of anatomy and movement.
