Ma Wang Dui Birds Qigong


Join in for this 5-week series learning the Ma Wang Dui Birds Qigong.


Learn this beautiful, elegant and ancient form of Qigong with lara pacheco - certified by Dr. Liu Dong of the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School. This series will be held outdoors in the privacy of a beautiful backyard in NE Portland, Cully neighborhood (you will be emailed the exact location upon registration). Tea will be served to connect with and explore seasonally-based plant medicine.


After our 5 week series, you will be prepared to practice this form on your own. Once registered, you will be encouraged to purchase an accompanying booklet or e-booklet through the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.


Please bring:

  • water and cup for tea

  • notebook and pen or pencil

  • accompanying booklet (encouraged but optional)

  • comfortable clothing

  • a blanket to sit on if grass isn't comfortable

  • hat for shade/sunglasses if sensitive to sun

Covid Safety:

There are no requirements for this series. Masking is optional and we ask that you stay home and join the livestream class if you are experiencing symptoms of illness.

lara pacheco (they/she) is a Boricua Taino mamita that believes part of our collective liberation is accessed through weaving into the web of ancestral medicine. lara is an acupuncturist offering their care through Working Class Acupuncture and one of their community partners CODA Treatment Recovery, North Portland Community Acupuncture, and Zocaló Wellness. lara is an ongoing student with the Ling Gui Healing International School and life long pursuant of their Taino spiritual traditions.
